David A. Bichara, MD MBA

Head of Discovery & External Operations

David currently serves as Executive Director, Clinical Development at ReLive Biotechnologies. He joined the company in April 2023 as Senior Director for Discovery & External Operations, after initially supporting the organization as a consultant shortly after its inception.

With over 15 years of experience in orthopedic biotechnologies and medical devices, David has a strong background in raising Series A capital, obtaining FDA approvals, and bringing innovative technologies to market. He is known for building successful teams, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, and creating value for startups through discovery, translational, and regulatory efforts, and business development.

Previously, David worked at Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School as a Physician Investigator for over a decade. In 2017, he assumed the role of Director of Preclinical Development at a venture-funded synthetic cartilage startup. In 2020, he founded Noli Ventures to offer consulting services and engage in parallel entrepreneurship, aligning with industry stakeholders to create value.

David holds an MD degree from the University of Monterrey, Mexico, graduating cum laude. He completed postdoctoral fellowships at Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School, with a focus on regenerative medicine and orthopedic biomaterials. Additionally, he earned an MBA from Boston University, US.
