Spherox is an autologous chondrocyte implantation technique that can be performed arthroscopically. Spherox is self-adhesive and does not require any supplemental fixation methods such as sutures or fibrin glue.

Spherox is a next-generation 2-step chondrocyte implantation (ACI) that is manufactured using autologous chondrocytes and autologous serum.

Using a proprietary arthroscopic device, Spherox is seamlessly delivered to the defect site and self-adheres within a matter of minutes, resulting in robust hyaline cartilage formation over time*. The surgical procedure can be performed arthroscopically without the use of cutting guides, templating, or fibrin glue, streamlining the procedure for enhanced convenience and efficacy.
